Diptych Art Show

Artists Cristina Martinez and Albaseer Holly collaborated on a weekend exhibition, thematically inspired by the diptych art style. This exhibition tackled the progression of diptychs as a commentary on family, representation, and the African-American experience. Curatorial assistance was engaged by collaboration with the two artists, and formulated to organize the exhibition stylisticially. By honoring the history of the diptych to develop themes on identity in the African-American canon, 'Diptych' garnered acclaim through its bright portraits.
